ABOUT
DR EMMA TETSTALL
​
Dr Tetstall attained her post graduate medical degree through the University of Sydney. She had an interest in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from early on in her degree. She subsequently undertook her medical elective in Obstetrics in Luganville, Vanuatu, and her Honours project was published in the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Dr Tetstall completed the majority of her specialist training at the Royal Hospital for Women in Randwick, where she worked in Obstetrics and Gynaecology for 9 years. During this time she was able to gain considerable experience in the management of both low and high risk Obstetrics. She completed an Ultrasound Fellowship at Royal Hospital for Women, where she worked closely with the Maternal Fetal Medicine department.

Dr Tetstall has furthered her experience and qualifications in fertility medicine and ultrasound diagnosis. She holds a Masters degree in Reproductive Medicine, and has a Diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound.

Dr Tetstall is committed to education and research. She currently facilitates the Obstetric and Gynaecology teaching program at Wollongong Hospital. She holds a conjoint associate lecturer position at the University of NSW and is an examiner for the RANZCOG pre-examination courses.
​
Dr Tetstall has settled in the Illawarra with her husband and two small boys. The family fell in love with the area after Dr Tetstall spent time at Wollongong Hospital during her training. After completing her Ultrasound Fellowship she has returned to the area to raise her family.
